Traditional metal braces are the most common type of braces and are more comfortable today than ever before. Made of high-grade stainless steel, metal braces straighten your teeth using metal brackets and archwires. With metal braces, you have the option of adding colored elastics for a more unique and colorful smile.
Ceramic braces are made of clear material so they’re less visible and offer an esthetic option to traditional metal braces. While they are visually less prominent, ceramic braces are slightly larger than their metal counterparts and are most often used on upper teeth for the greatest esthetic benefit.
Invisalign allows Dr. Lenk and Dr. Sunnie to use 3D imaging technology and his knowledge of orthodontics to create a series of invisible, removable, and comfortable aligners to move your teeth. Aligners must be worn 20 hours/day to be effective, but can be taken out to eat and clean. Dr. Lenk and Dr. Sunnie have invested hundreds of continuing education hours in Invisalign to be able to offer you incredible results.

With a 3D scanner and 3D printer, Dr. Lenk & Dr. Sunnie can design and create their own clear aligners for patients to address minor tooth movement. Aligners are clear, removable, and comfortable. Patients move through a series of aligners, wearing them 20 hours/day, to gradually move teeth into position. In-house aligners give Lenk and Kuna Orthodontics more control over the clear aligner process.
